This looks really promising! Some suggestions though: Analogue or R2R volume control if possible. If possible show current volume on display, i.e [-10 db] Maybe a newer DAC chip, i.e AK4499 Possible to change display, i. e fake VU meter would look cool and always makes audio nerds excited...
