    DAC Op amp roll ZD3 or ZA3?

    I have a ZD3 going into a ZA3 in stereo via XLR. Everyone talks about sparkos op amps being a major improvement. The question is do I swap the op amp(s) in the ZD3 or ZA3? If it's both, that's just an astronomical cost and likely worth doing. So swap the DAC or the amp op amps? Thoughts?

    ZD3 and ZA3 not as bright

    I am currently using OFC cables and using the XLR balanced connection option between the ZD3 and ZA3. I found that if I play music at a moderate to high volume the highs are there, but sound muffled below that. I also use this setup for watching tv/movies and dialogue sounds muffled.

    Hello all. I have a ZD3 paired with a ZA3. They are hooked up to a pair of Infinity towers. One thing I noted after making the switch is the sound isn't as bright and I'm losing some of the highs. My speakers historically have been super bright. I'm guessing there is no EQ adjustment on the ZD3...

    DAC ZD3 firmware

    Just got my ZD3. How do I check the firmware revision? Are three release notes on what's been fixed in each release? How do I get the newest firmware?

    ZD3 displays none for bitrate

    Just got my ZD3 and I paired it with a ZA3 amp. One thing I noticed is that the bit rate always shows "none" when using HDMI Arc or Optical. Even when playing music. Is this normal?
