Besides the obvious "do not tap on the table" (Sorry, could help my self ), you can check if something any tube some how got loose, if something like that is possible. Other than that, the next best thing I believe would be to use some isolating material to decouple the P-2 from the table.

Probably weather conditions play a big role, among others. During summer where I live, in less than one hour the V3s were really too hot to keep touching for more than a couple of seconds. Now with the ambient temperature around 22-25 C, they do get hot, but not too much, I can keep my hand on...

I have this also connected on a windows 10 machine, via USB, but do not have this issue at all. I had no need to install a driver, just connected the device and it worked. I have tried using headphones & speakers, different apps for audio & video playback, did not notice it at all.

I do have access to a thermal camera, so at some point I will check give it a shot to see what is the temperature, before & after. I had not thought about the chip placement, to be honest, just had in mind that having the heatsink on the top, would let hot air escape easier. But completely...

Interesting idea. I was thinking about doing something similar, by adding a heat sink on the top of the V3. This solution looks much better, though I wonder if it is as effective as putting them on top of the device. Perhaps I can try both when I get the time, and see if there is any...

I suggest you try contacting Fosi support directly, since the device is only 3 months old, it should be covered by the warranty. I had an issue with an item that arrived defective, and they where very helpful. https://support.fosiaudio.com/

Do not have the K7, but is there any chance you have both USB and optical/coax cables connected to your PC? If the USB port besides power can act as audio transfer connection, there is a chance that windows sees the K7 as two devices. If that is the case, you can try to swap input/output devices...

Regarding the RCA output to tape deck, I believe it should work, since it is a line out. You would need though a tape deck with input level indicators, in order to be able to set recording levels. The ZP3 can use only one output at a time, so you cannot send the output to a tape recorder, and at...

Probably not much Fosi can do about it. It would be better to either contact the courier, or contact the customs directly. Depending on where you are, sometimes you have to do the customs clearance process yourself, or pay the company that handles the shipping to handle the clearance process...

This sounds really strange. I am using the ZP3 with two V3 monos, using XLR cables, and have no hiss at all, regardless the tone control setting. Though based on your troubleshooting, it does appear that it is the ZP3 that somehow causes the issue. I wonder if there is any weird...

Not an expert in any capacity, but I have a similar setup, without the ZD3, but I plan to add that too, a bit later. I only have tried & used the V3 mono, not the ZA 3 so I cannot say anything about the audio quality differences. The V3s indeed get quite hot, but not so hot that you cannot...
