Keeping in mind budget, 4-Stream would be a great direction for users to integrate cheap multiroom options. I believe that it can work with Wiim products. Not tried this personally

Bit late to the party with my comments here - sorry. I do like the 4 Stream app: its basic but works well and handles multiroom. I also use HEOS which is an adequate performer but I imagine there would be strong licensing issues from Denon/Marantz. I did quite like BluOS when I demo'd it but...

I'd love to know if the plans make it compatible with an existing streamer format e.g. 4Stream Not sure I can wait for November so if I am to buy an Arylic S10+ to tide me over until then will it be sideways compatible???? If not, give me a hint in which direction I should shop....

I agree that you are onto something with the idea of Fosi being modular. I love the idea of being able to upgrade and improve by adding in OpAmps and Monoblocks, and improving power supplies. How far down the DIY route to go though? I'm not so sure. I'd love to give it a go but this would mean...

Loved reading your review and love your setup. Looks great. Agree completely about Bluetooth comments and lack of sub out. I like the switch in the underside. Means you can use Wiim as a Pre amp if you choose.
