I can't hear any difference and decided not to roll the opamps as I think the stock LME's are perfect. I'll keep it switched to bypass. Volume is controlled on my main integrated amp.

Is there a real benefit from using the ZD3's bypass mode? Does it really bypass circuitry that may have a (slight) influence on the signal? Or is it just fixing the output at the highest level? And if so, could that have an effect on the sound quality. The weak point of the Fosi is probably...
