I definitely wouldn't dare to leave a bad power supply constantly on in an unobserved place - it could cause a fire in the worst case.

Do you turn off just the amp or do you turn off the power supply as well? If you do not turn off the power supply, then it always remains under voltage and heats up unnecessarily, which shortens its life.

I don't think the connector will fit because the internal dimension is smaller than the one on the amplifier. If you can change the connector for a suitable one, then that adapter can be used.

I don't think there is an option for remote control.
