Would be great to see a fully Balanced upgraded version of the GR70 headphone amp/ preamp.
Sonically the gr70 is probably the best Fosi product while still not perfect.
Keeping the Simplest yet functional design idea a upgraded fully balanced version would be minimal in and outs while still keeping tone controls and a load/hi/low switch.
IN- 1 pair XLR
pre OUT - 1 pair XLR
headphone jack 1/4 same as gr70
not sure how many tubes would be needed for a fully balanced headphone amp, possible 6 or 8 , it would be nice to have the extra power also, the gr70 is not the most powerful headphone amp, fully balanced should give 4 times the power.
Also a more than adequate power supply should be included in the initial price, I upgraded the power supply on my GR70 to a 12v 6a 72w ac to dc , and it was a significant upgrade, a little overkill, but IMO it was only $16,,,would better to just include this kind of thing in the first place and charge for it...instead of adding more junk...the original wall wort is junk.
Would love to see this , I'm guessing this would push into the $350 price range.
