So the bluetooth on my ZD3 has stopped working. I have done all of the steps:
1. Ensure the ZD3 is powered on and in Bluetooth mode. The pairing indicator should blink when the device is ready to pair.
2. Move the ZD3 and your Bluetooth device closer together to ensure they are within range (typically within 10 meters).
3. Clear the Bluetooth pairing list on the ZD3 by double-clicking the main volume button. This action should reset the pairing memory. If the indicator continues blinking, the list has been cleared.
4. Restart your Bluetooth device (e.g., phone, tablet, or computer) and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
5. Search for available devices on your Bluetooth device and check if "Fosi ZD3" appears. If it does, select it to pair.
6. If "Fosi ZD3" does not appear, try pairing with another Bluetooth device to rule out issues with the original device.
7. Disconnect the ZD3's power for 5 minutes, then reconnect it to ensure a full reset.
The ZD3 screen displays the bluetooth symbol blinking with the word "pairing" below. When you try to pair to a device the "Fosi Audio ZD3" device never shows as an option. None of the reset options work. I can play audio through USB and I am assuming the other inputs as well but, I primarily use the ZD3 with BT as the input. I don't see any tools on the Fosi site to reload or update the firmware so I am kind of stuck. I wish I had bought the device from a company that has humans on the other end of the phone in that I have yet to receive any useful (it seems all automated canned responses) information when I have communicated with Fosi. They also wanted a video of my setup which I get but what a pain to supply. Is there anything short of asking for an exchange or refund from my supplier that I can do?
