So, my hardware is:
Mac M4 as main source (Apple Music)
ZH3 connected thrue USB
1 ZA3 connected with a XLR cable (second ZA3 + splitter cable is on the way)
Teufel Ultima 40 standing speakers with seperate inputs mid/high and low.
Active Teufel T8 sub
Works ok, but my room is to small to get far enough from the speakers to enjoy the bass, therefore I added a sub.
Now as I am in an apartment, I want to be able to reduce the low frequencies according to the time of the day (read : night)
My plan now is the connect my speakers mid/high to the first ZA3, and the speakers low + subwoofer to the second ZA3. I think this is called horizontal bi-amping.
I hope that in that configuration I will be able use the volume control on my second ZA3 to reduce the lows.
Anyone experience?
