Hello,
Just wanted to share how I color changed the essential knobs, buttons, and LEDs for my entire component lineup.
I built a Solstice speaker kit pair from parts-express. They are finished with sapele ribbon veneer and dyed ostrich skin.
While the original orange is powerful and punchy, I feel the color change represents the calmer ambiance that I seek.
Turquoise or cyan LEDs are not that readily available. They are all heavily blue or green biased. I purchased four variants from digikey and found one that I am happiest with. It is listed as 500nm wavelength.
The ZP3 was most difficult to disassemble, and the P4 required the most problem solving.
I used a hot air soldering station.
