My FOSI K7 experienced an issue with the physical volume knob after I downloaded the 5.68.0 driver and updated the firmware to V2.32, on a system running Windows 11 Pro. Specifically, the knob works for a short while right after the firmware update, but once the volume is adjusted using any application, the physical knob immediately stops working. The issue persists even after restarting the K7 — the volume remains fixed at the level it was before shutdown. The K7’s built-in screen shows the volume number changing, but the actual volume does not change. Both Bluetooth and PC inputs are unresponsive. My initial assessment is that this issue is caused by the firmware. Switching between UAC 1.0 and UAC 2.0 modes also fails to restore functionality. This problem makes the K7 very frustrating to use, because once the K7 is in use, Windows’ native volume control stops working, and in-app volume controls are often buried in menus. The only convenient way to adjust the volume — the physical knob — is now broken as well.
