Just set up my first headphone amp (Fosi MC331 with Audiotechnica R50x's) and I'm getting a constant high pitched squeal through the amp. Is this normal for a headphone amp? Did I just get bad tubes?
Noise is definitely tied to the amp; I can increase volume on windows or VLC without a problem but when I crank the amp is when I get issues. Running through an RCA cable, and the headphones work fine plugged directly into the motherboard.
