I'm experiencing an issue whereby my ZD3 volume is either turned to Max or turned to 0 by my new Honor magic8 pro.
My ZD3 is connected to my TV via hdmi arc and the ZD3 is set to hdmi arc. My Yamaha HS7's are connected via XLR.
The issue only occurs when the Honor Magic8 pro is locked. When I pick up the phone and tilt it upwards the volume will either turn up to Max or down to zero. Nothing happens when I tilt left, right or down, nor when the phone is unlocked. The Bluetooth is turned off on my phone.
I've contacted Honor through AI chat and have no solution. They suggested updating firmware on both phone and ZD3. The phone is already up to date.
Is there an update for the ZD3. It was purchased in December '25
