Just got my K7 from Kickstarter.
On Windows 11;
In UAC 1.0 mode
- The only sound format available is 16 bit, 48kHz.
- This does enable a microphone input within Windows.
- Windows volume doesn't control anything; 0 volume is the same as 100 on the volume slider. Volume knob on the K7 is the only volume control
In UAC 2.0 mode
- The range of sound formats available are 24-32 bit, 44.1-384kHz.
- No microphone input device is enabled.
- Windows volume control does work now, independently of the volume knob on the device.
Why is UAC 1 locked to 16 bit, 48kHz, why is there no microphone at all in UAC 2, and why does the method of volume control change between them?
