Need some assistance! I have new S3 but am very confused on how to set up as instructions are a bit vague or my IQ is draining out my ears. I have downloaded app and set the unit up via Ethernet. My net work sees it and rhe NET light is steady white. I first tried to connect it to a DAC/headphone amp as that will be my primary use for it. I have connected the S3 opt out to DAC opt ln. ( DAC is SMSL RAW MDA1). Then I go on app and select opt output. Green light HDMI OPT is steady on. I select TIDAL and even Spotify. Both apps open, allow me to make music selection - then I press play and no sound! On app music is running but nothing comes out of headphones. What I want to do is insert it (andgetit to play) in my Fosi desktop system: source Ethernet, ZP3 connected by rca to ZH3 and ZA3 (stereo) out to Polk ES10 speakers.
So in a nutshell how do I accurately select input and output using the buttons on unit Also where would I insert the S3 into my system.
I know I am doing something wrong. I have 3 wiim’s and never have any issues setting them up.
