Hello everyone, as is well known, in the past two years, it seems that everyone has started to feel nostalgic. Many retro products have re-entered our lives. In my understanding, a retro product is like a bottle of aged wine. You've left it in a corner for a long time. One day, you see it, open it, and take a sip. Memories from years ago suddenly flood your mind, leaving you unable to forget for a long time. Music always makes you recall many memories, and retro music equipment is the carrier of these memories. Recently, we are planning to develop several retro products. Do you have any special memories? Any ideas for products? I'd like to hear your opinions. I will create the products based on everyone's ideas, and we will co-create this product together. I will also update the product development progress under this post. Let's embark on this journey of retro memories together and make yesterday come back;

1778587558520.pngGood cassette player mechanisms are gradually disappearing. I've been trying to find good cassette player mechanisms still available on the market these days, and this is one I found today, with decent specifications.

My wish is for a tube preamp with balanced XLR inputs and outputs capable of receiving the signal from the FOSI S3 and sending it to any amplifier, with quality tubes and perhaps VU meters...

I'm not sure that early 2000's can be considered vintage :)
But what about SACD transport? Fosi DACs already support DSD streams... Not sure about multi-channel audio layer support, but why not?
I still have batch os SACD with some classical music in this format.

A bientôt.

thanks,Developing a CD player that supports SACD has been something I've been struggling with lately, because new SACDs are hardly published anymore, right? There aren't many existing SACD discs, and currently the PCBA that supports SACD is still quite expensive, as it's a niche market. So I've been hesitating, worried that sales won't be good after it's made. But during this period, quite a few people have come to me, saying they hope to have a turntable that supports SACD. Do you want it to have a built-in DAC, or just make it a turntable?

We now have the Luna 3 turntable, haha, you can try it out

From my point of view - pure transport will be more than enough. Just add to it some high-spec digital outputs such as I2S. Because some DACs can process multi channel DSD only via USB or I2S / HDMI.

I'd like to see a stereo power amp with real vu meters (e.g. onkyo icon m-80), and no dials / volume controls etc, just balanced and RCA inputs. Basically just chuck two Fosi V3 monos together in a box, and add on the vu meters, and you'll probably have a winner! Would be nice if it could match the footprint of other gear, like the ZP3.

Alternatively (or as well as) maybe a dac with real vu meters, like the fiio warmer but without all the tube nonsense to worry about! Again, matching form factor to ZA3 (if possible) or ZP3 if not, would be nice

A compact disc/bluetooth boombox; if you really want to differentiate it from any other product in all of existence, you could include a WiFi streamer module inside! Just imagine the possibilities!!!

Vintage focuses on analog.

These days, CDs, LPs, R2R, tapes, and vacuum tubes have become so boring.

The true king of analog!

thanks,There are many radios on the market currently, and we've been hesitating whether to make one. Are you dissatisfied with any of the radios currently on sale?

"We all have days like that, don't we?

I mean days when you feel completely lethargic.

Days when even turning on the DAC, amplifier, or CD player feels like a chore.

Instead, you just mindlessly turn on the radio and listen to familiar old songs.

Of course, there are plenty of ordinary radios on the market, but...

Imagine a power amplifier with a classic, vintage design and a built-in tuner. Doesn't that sound really special?

I had this thought recently while reading an article about vintage audio equipment."

I would love a music spectrum visualizer with parametric EQ!

If Fosi releases such a product, I won't have to buy Topping DX5 II—I could use Fosi ZD3 as a DAC + Fosi spectrum visualizer with PEQ instead.
