ZD3 displays none for bitrate

Just got my ZD3 and I paired it with a ZA3 amp. One thing I noticed is that the bit rate always shows "none" when using HDMI Arc or Optical. Even when playing music. Is this normal?

The manual makes it appear that the bit rate should be shown, but I saw a video from someone who received an early version and it also showed NONE when the input is switched to HDMI ARC. Mine does the same. Looks like that just the way it is, unless they do a firmware upgrade.

I just got my ZD3 today. It also shows NONE for the bitrate on HDMI. Mine came with firmware 1.06.

I use HDMI ARC as my main audio input. Great feature, and the main reason I bought this DAC. I run a 2ch amp for movies and TV and don't want a full AV receiver. Overall I'm very pleased with it, sounds great and has almost all the functions I wanted in a DAC.
