ZD3 USB Input options

I've just received a zd3 and a za3 that I want to connect my Eversolo Play to to bypass the Play's lackluster amp.
I want to output via the Play's USB audio out to the zd3 USB input since the Play has no analog out (otherwise I would have gone directly to the za3).

Will the zd3 recognize the the Play data stream? I see a lot of references to PC connection capabilities, but can't find references to connecting via USB with other devices.
The Play USB output supports up to Stereo DSD512 Native and PCM 768kHz 32Bit,, but coaxial is much lower, so I don't want to use it..

Will these devices be able to talk to one another?

I neglected to mention that the Play is built around a customized version of Android 11.

My initial post has been overwhelmed by events.
It took over three weeks for my initial post to go through the approval process, so my initial concerns have been resolved by the arrival of my Zp3 and experimentation.

Hopefully, this delay is not typical.

I too have a ZD3 question: What USB input implementation method does the ZD3 DAC use; Adaptive or Asynchronous. In your CD transport development please consider including a simple DAC to USB output mode that includes an Asynchronous clock.

In an online drill-down of DAC processors, I think I'm closer to finding an answer to my question on the ZD3s USB input timing, clock and popping implementation. It appears the onboard XMOS XU316 chipset (used within USB input signals) is capable of asynchronous clock timing and popping checks before being sent to the Saber ES9039Q2M DAC for output. Zhang is this correct, and, is the XU316 using asynchronous clocking?
