Hey everyone, quick question. I just bought a ZH3 and I'm pairing it with my HiFiMan Sundaras using the balanced output.
Running it on high gain and listening to Blues and Jazz, a volume level of 45 is fairly good, but not exactly loud. I honestly expected it to pack a bit more of a punch - I figured 25 to 30 would already be loud enough given the 2.5w balanced out. It only starts getting too loud for me once I hit 60.
What has your experience been like? What’s your usual volume setting when driving planars like the Sundara or the HE400se with this?
