I have a Fosi P3 driving two ZA3 amps. Should I use the P3 AUX out (with a splitter) to connect to my powered sub? Or should I connect the sub to ZA3s with dual RCA cables? The cut-off frequency range for the ZA3 sub out is listed as 20-300Hz. Is it the same for the P3 AUX out? Thanks.

I tried to change out the stock opamps in my V3 for Sparkos 3602s, but they didn't seem to fit. Will they fit if I install the DIP sockets first? Also, can someone tell me how the AUX/Sub out output works on the P3? Is the output signal controlled by the volume pot? Is there a high pass...

Not everyone drives her V3 with a P3 (or other preamp). A user might connect his DAC (without a volume knob) directly to his V3, in which case he'll certainly need the volume knob to control loudness.

I'll chime in on removing unused opamps. I have two ZA3s that I run in mono mode, and a P3 which also outputs to a subwoofer. After reading the earlier posts, I went in and took out the unused opamps, leaving only a Sparkos SS3602 in the R outputs. The resulting change in sound is remarkable...
