Disabling the Noise Suppressor also fix the cutout. @Fosi Audio Team Really wish I can save this configuration permanently on the device. In any case, @doxygenthief it's a nice find and thanks again.

Thanks @doxygenthief, I tried using the ACP Workbench you showed in the PDF, and it did fix the issue with just changing the Noise Suppressor Threshold alone down to -90.00db. However, I did encounter the same issue, unable to save the configuration. I tried saving on group 0-9 it didn't stick...

I might pay the license for ACP workbench if it can write the settings permanently, kind of annoying that the license is tied to one PC only. Nonetheless, it's a really cool find.

Whoa that's really cool, I didn't know there's a software to do that. If you adjust the noise suppressor temporarily, does it helps the low volume cut off? Maybe FOSI can get their act together and release a firmware update to write the settings permanently.

I tried running the MC331 without the tubes, while it did work, the volume is low and muffled. The tubes definitely make a difference in the audio output and quality. That aside, since the volume output is small, I can crank up the volume to max and it helps with the low volume content despite...

I kind of wish it is a faulty unit, since there's a lot of glowing review about it. But I suggest return it if you still can. I passed my return window.

I'm sure Fosi knew about this issue, but unfortunately they probably already moved onto their newer product. They kept churning newer product one after another that have similar functionality. Highly doubt they'll go out of their way to support past product. Because of this low volume issue...

Did you experience low volume cut off? When the audio material is low, it start to clip almost like somebody press mute and came back on when the volume picked up.

I didn't experience that issue with mine. Just low volume cut-off. Sounds like a defect/faulty unit to me.
