4.1 / 5.1 surround sound : Too many boxes, too many cables, too many power bricks

To make best use of Fosi's products in a PC desktop home office environment, my ideal setup would be an enhanced K7 as the 'hub' to connect PC output sound via USB4, with 4.1 or 5.1 surround sound decoded and transmitted wirelessly to 2 amplifiers for front & rear passive or powered speakers. This architecture allows the integration of all types of speakers, including legacy (and very good) passive speakers, in flexible locations, and avoiding the mess of cables and power bricks. This setup would replicate the functions of a Creative Labs X4 (Fosi K7 features with enhancements + decoding & transmitting 5.1 surround sound) and a Sony Quad speaker system (which works extremely well).

Why the Fosi fixation on wired connections?

I have a legacy set of KEF 8 ohm 5.1 surround sound speakers with active subwoofer. This proposed solution would allow me to use these speakers without a big AVR and better integrate the PC desktop needs of MIC and Headphones. Overall volume control would be from the K7 enhanced hub. One remote amplifier would power center and front speakers, the other powers the subwoofer and Rear speakers. This architecture offers the minimum number of boxes, minimum cables, maximum flexibility.

You would need some configuration software to configure the devices and assign channels to amplifiers.

Also needs to be able to decode Dolby Digital / DTS / THX common in home theatre systems.

Integrated power supplies for amplifiers please !!
