Because the Fosi amps and DACs are so small in size, they are ideal for a desktop audio system. I currently have a ZD3 + ZH3 + ZP3 system on my PC desktop (see photo), and the ZP3 is currently feeding a pair of Adam Audio D3V pro audio mini monitors (with a 3.5" woofer and twin 3.5" passive radiators). These are powered speakers. They are pretty good as a desktop hifi solution - but what would be better is a pair of Fosi V3 mono amps, and a pair of NEW Fosi desktop (mini) PASSIVE speakers - utilizing dual passive radiators to get sufficient bass from such a small speaker - much like the "Passive Aggressive" DIY speakers, that one can buy as a kit, and build. These small designs are generlly quite power hungry - so the Fosi amps are ideal. I don't have enough time to build my own - so please Fosi, make some for me!
The Fosi V3 monos and some tiny passive speakers would produce so much better sound - and I bet there would be a market for these. Well, I think there would be - but other Fosi members can say if they like this idea? I would be very interested to know how many people use Fosi kit for desktop systems?
Thanks
Simon
