I've owned the BT20A Pro amp for about 3 months now. Purchased from Amazon.ca.
A strange rumbling/rustly noise has developed in one of the channels. I have narrowed it down to definitely being an issue with the amp.
More info:
- It seems to go away if I turn off the amp for a while, and then turn it on. It will go away for a few hours but then come back
- I tried another power adapter, issue is the same
- Adjusting the volume/bass/treble knob does not change the noise
- Adjusting source volume does not change the noise
- It is only on the right channel. Swapping the channels, the problem follows.
- Testing other sources to the amp and the issue persists
- Trying with a different amp and the problem goes away
Very disappointing.
Is there anything else that I can try or is it time for a new amp?
Thanks for any suggestions.
