Amplifier BT20A Pro started making strange noise in one channel

I've owned the BT20A Pro amp for about 3 months now. Purchased from Amazon.ca.

A strange rumbling/rustly noise has developed in one of the channels. I have narrowed it down to definitely being an issue with the amp.

More info:
- It seems to go away if I turn off the amp for a while, and then turn it on. It will go away for a few hours but then come back
- I tried another power adapter, issue is the same
- Adjusting the volume/bass/treble knob does not change the noise
- Adjusting source volume does not change the noise
- It is only on the right channel. Swapping the channels, the problem follows.
- Testing other sources to the amp and the issue persists
- Trying with a different amp and the problem goes away

Very disappointing.

Is there anything else that I can try or is it time for a new amp?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi! I have the same amplifier and have been using it for about two years without any problems.
I remember that at the beginning it had a slight hum, which I managed to fix by replacing the speaker cables.
I recommend checking the RCA connections and also the cable connected to your source (if you’re not using Bluetooth).
If the problem persists, the best solution is to contact Fosi Audio support — in my experience, they’re very responsive and helpful.
