The VOL 20IR is a revised version of the VOL 20, eliminating Bluetooth functionality and introducing learning infrared remote control capabilities. It’s designed to be a versatile volume control that integrates seamlessly into existing setups. Operating ANY and ALL infrared items for Volume up/down, play/pause

Features:

• Learning Infrared Remote: Teach the VOL 20IR your current remote commands for volume up/down, play/pause, and additional controls.
• Rotary Dial with Button Function: Turning the dial adjusts volume; pressing it toggles play/pause.
• Multi-Directional IR Blasters: Multiple powerful IR emitters surround the base, flooding the room with commands for reliable control.
• Compact and Stylish Design: Maintains Fosi Audio’s signature minimalist look.

Design Rationale:

• The VOL 20IR fills a niche for users who want seamless control of their audio devices without juggling multiple remotes. The learning feature makes it adaptable to any existing setup, enhancing user experience and convenience.

Design Twist:
If Fosi feels it is possible we can simply add this functionality to the current VOL20 without eliminating the Bluetooth functionality. otherwise we can build a IR version.

I love this idea. I'd think that it could be achieved with a driver/application running on osx/win/linux along with a USB IR blaster. Sell it with the blaster.
