Had the V3s playing for a couple of months and besides running hot i liked them a lot.
I went up from the coach approaching the power off switch and when i touch it I got a static discharge in my finger and a "click" sound was coming from one of the speakers, but i never got the time to flip the switch. The unit went stone dead!
I realized that the spark from my body caused the unit to pass away...
Tried several times to restart it but still dead. Found a new one second hand..
So be aware!! Those class D chip is very sensitive to ESD!!
Discharge yourself before touching them!!
WIll I recieve a new one from FOSI?
I do not think so....
Thats why I want you all to discharge yourself before touching them!
I work with electronics so I know how those chip is working, and this is their weak spot!!
