Amplifier K7 not recognised under device manager

Hi all, i searched everywhere but didn’t find anything. I own a fosi k7 and this is how it is shown under device manager 1767878100946.png
This appears to be due to the uac 2.0 connection because it disappears when I change it to uac 1.0.
The sound is working and I can see it under windows audio output. But I can’t see it under device manager (only under unknown devices)

I’ve tried everything to fix it: uninstalling, disabling the device, changing windows version, formatting windows, I have tried to use it with another pc. No matter what I do, it appears in DFU mode. I don’t think it is supposed to work like that, I can’t find any driver either. I need to know if I have a faulty unit or I have to download some software or driver somewhere.
I need help from the community
Thank you

I have the exact same issue. For whatever reason, Windows 11 does not recognize the K7 in UAC 2.0. I have tried to delete the drivers and have it re-install, but it just doesn't recognize any drivers as working with the device. I went to the support page, and there are no drivers for the K7. What the hell? Are there no drivers for Windows 11 at all?

I got a very fast response from FOSI, kudos to the fast response. If anyone else is interested, this was the solution:

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your Fosi Audio K7 DAC issue. Please follow the steps below to resolve the problem:

1. Uninstall the "Fosi Audio DFU" from your device manager if it appears, then restart your computer.
2. Download and install the driver for the K7 DAC from this link: [K7 Driver Download](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iPPlEBmS_Z5lZx01wHqbDp3cTVrj-dUS/view?usp=sharing). This driver is the same as the ZD3 model.
3. After installing the driver, reconnect the K7 DAC to your computer and check if it is recognized properly.

Please try the above steps first. If the issue persists, kindly provide us with a short video showing the problem and your connections, so we can better identify the cause and provide further guidance.
