Hi,
I have been using and listening to the Merak CD player for a few weeks and put my thoughts into a short review post:

Mostly I have been using it as a CD Transport, and my only negative is I feel it is a pity that it doesn't have a battery as that would make it properly portable and more likely that I would bring it outside and maybe use it on my commute. The Volume slider is very cool and when I used it with my various Hifiman planar's ( and Fosi's own i5) and seme other relatively harder to drive headphones, it worked sound excellent with an appropriate neutral tuning.

Fosi Audio Merak CD Player
A compact, honest CD transport that earns its place in a desktop hi-fi rack — excellent digital outputs, a satisfying slider, and no unnecessary complexity.
