I have an AirBnb with an old Denon receiver that needs to be replaced.
There is an 5.1 Focal speaker system in the living area with a powered sub, and a pair of Yamaha speakers outside on the deck. The two sources will be phone/tablet via Bluetooth and a turntable.
I do not need the 5.1 functionality as there is no screen/TV to watch movies, but I would like to run a 4.1 system and have the second (outside) zone as an option.
I thought I might be able to do a Bluetooth Power Amp that would have another set of inputs for the turntable, a subwoofer output, and another set of line level outputs to run to a second amp for the outside speakers. But it doesn't look like there is something that exactly works.
Option 1: Get one BT20A - run four indoor speakers off of the powered outputs, get a headphone splitter to send signal to the powered sub and to a Mini V3 power amp for the outdoor speakers
Option 2: Get a ZP3 Preamp, an aftermarket Bluetooth receiver, and two ZA3 amplifiers.
Option 1 seems ok but I'm wary of a headphone splitter. Option 2 seems like it would work but feels a little overkillish to get the ZP3 and an aftermarket Bluetooth receiver to get one set of preamp outputs on an HT4S
What is this elusive Option 3 that I'm missing? Thanks in advance!
