VOL20 and WiiM Pro

First day and partial success. I use a Samsung TabA to control Qobuz on a WiiM Pro connected to a Shiit DAC feeding my V3 Mono's. I can control the volume on the WiiM. The VOL20 does increase/decrease the volume one rotational click equal a single digit on the slider value when displayed, thats the minimal change and nicely useful.
On the con side, Pause/Resume and Next/Previous do not function. On other screen views using another open app the tablet's volume slider moves but the volume of the music does not change. This means in practical terms, you must navigate to WiiM pages displaying a slider. Might as well move the slider as always. Maybe the blame belongs with the implementation of the WiiM Home app (volume and pause/resume work on YouTube videos) but as it stands, for my intended use, I am minimally satisfied this purchase. Perhaps someone will post an explanation and work around.

I have the same issue with the VOL20. Its really nice gadget but the Wiim wont react only for the volume. The Wiim Hone app uses Tidal Connect. If you use Tidal app as "stand alone app" and not embedded Tidal Connect in the Wiim Home app it works fine. Als apps like Poweramp on Android phone works fine. The Wiim app needs an upgrade will this work.

I also discovered that the WiiM Home app, when connected via Bluetooth to the VOL20, causes my on-screen keyboard to disappear. Therefore I cannot enter a search in Qobuz. I have to exit the app to get the keyboard to show. This is a deal breaker. Wonder if Fosi gives refunds to early KickStarter backers?

I did a review here on the VOL20 and discussed some of these things as I have a similar setup. Have a look if you're interested.
