ZA3 bypass volume control

Hi,
I would like to use the ZA3 as a power amp and was wondering if anything would be gained by bypassing (removing & hard wiring) the volume control as shown in image.
Thank you

Isn't it easier to set the volume pot full clockwise - you get the same effect as with jumpers.

Basically, that was my question. Just wondering if the cheap volume pot degrades the sound in any way. I've heard of people complaining about cheap pots in the signal path on other amps.
I read all kinds of things like removing the unused sub, XLR op amps improves the sound or that the V3 sounds better than the ZA3 because it has less circuitry (no balanced outputs, trigger, sub...).

When you turn the volume pot fully clockwise, the output contacts are short-circuited and the quality of the pot itself is not affected.
If you are skilled with a soldering iron, you can also bridge the pot with jumpers.
