Co-Create Fosi Surround generator & DSP

Similar to the Schiit SYN, but integrating something like a hafler circuit technology at line level, along with something like Carver's "sonic holography". It could be done via DSP, or all analog. The DSP could mimick all kinds of setups, emulate speakers, separate frequencies... A DSP is always firmware upgradable, and this opens the door to infinite upgrades as long as the product is supported. The list of features that could be implemented over time is a complete new section for innovation, but I know I'd like to have the option to create my own 5.1 environment, the way I want it. Some will ask for atmos, I think for music, 5.1 can be really interesting and immersive. True 5.1 that could be played with through a driver. It could include bass management, digital and analog inputs, as long as the user can control the sound and relays and phases and "effects". It would be something similar to the old yamaha dsp-1 from the 80's, but evolved and refined, with even more options to play with. It could compete with MiniDSP and all kinds of other DSPs that sometimes fall very short. I'm thinking of being able to have total control on each individual outputs. Bass management, phase, freq. adjust, stereo image widener (could be like Schiit Syn in it's concept) and have analog out or optical digital out. Could be nicely paired with Fosi ZA3 or V3 Monos. Fosi could multiply sales tenfold!

They likely have R&D. They should go into DSP world asap. Not just in multichannel, but in stereo it matters.

ZA3 is almost perfect, ZD3 as well. They just missed out the DSP PEQ room/speaker correction from either of them... 9 PEQ, LP/HP, 3 crossovers for the sub and amp channels, phase rotation for the sub and of course delay and gain for each (and maybe phase invert but not necessary). That should be a basic program, with basic gui via usb connection, being able to store the parameters on the device. Honestly, this is not a big deal nowadays with these chips, and they are inevitable in the competition of markets/goods.

If I'd have one choice, of coourse I'd put this DSP primarily in the device with digital input, but also welcome feature in the amps before output for those who just need it for their speaker setup. Either was such a huge win on this cramped market, with such good specs already... Fosi was a big winner.

I would definitely pay more for such option in either or both. Or simply they could integrate it already on board and ask optional fee for the software activation, if someone decides to use it.

What they miss is the profit that other plugin and easy DSP box sellers gain. I mean if camillaDSP is possible with rPi, for such guys who create such perfect amps, how much does it take to integrate a chip with a software on it in the current circuit? Likely not more than 6 months. There are some examples already on the market but with hefty margin... because of monopol status. They could even check those products. I assume Fosi fellows are really clever.
