Similar to the Schiit SYN, but integrating something like a hafler circuit technology at line level, along with something like Carver's "sonic holography". It could be done via DSP, or all analog. The DSP could mimick all kinds of setups, emulate speakers, separate frequencies... A DSP is always firmware upgradable, and this opens the door to infinite upgrades as long as the product is supported. The list of features that could be implemented over time is a complete new section for innovation, but I know I'd like to have the option to create my own 5.1 environment, the way I want it. Some will ask for atmos, I think for music, 5.1 can be really interesting and immersive. True 5.1 that could be played with through a driver. It could include bass management, digital and analog inputs, as long as the user can control the sound and relays and phases and "effects". It would be something similar to the old yamaha dsp-1 from the 80's, but evolved and refined, with even more options to play with. It could compete with MiniDSP and all kinds of other DSPs that sometimes fall very short. I'm thinking of being able to have total control on each individual outputs. Bass management, phase, freq. adjust, stereo image widener (could be like Schiit Syn in it's concept) and have analog out or optical digital out. Could be nicely paired with Fosi ZA3 or V3 Monos. Fosi could multiply sales tenfold!
