I have a small doubt regarding the Fosi DAC. Do you find that the balanced XLR output is much more attenuated than the unbalanced RCA output? I also tried connecting one speaker (I use active monitors that have both inputs) to RCA and the other to XLR and, at the same volume, the sound pressure is very different. It does not depend on the XLR and RCA inputs of the speakers: in fact, I tried with a cheap Behringer DAC and the XLR output is very high (as is normal).
